Our Story

Black Hawk Candle Company is a company by King Black Hawk. King Black Hawk is the King identity aspect of Goddess Ganga Shakti of Ganga Tribe. Ganga Tribe is a Black Indian American Tribe. As King of Ganga Tribe, Goddess Ganga Shakti embraces the responsibility of leadership by assuming the position of King and Commander-In-Chief of Black India, a new Black-Womanist nation of Tribes unified as a democratic republic defended by the monarchal protection of The King Of All Kings.

As part of her initiatives towards worldwide efforts of Indigenous reclamation and reconstruction, Goddess Ganga Shakti has a vision to replace the standard and common household candle from the default of toxic soy wax to a more healthier and environmentally mindful alternative: the beeswax candle.

REPLACE

Goddess Ganga Shakti originally developed the idea for Black Hawk Candle Company as a vision to replace the product of crack cocaine with a product that can be made just as easily if not easier and sold with the same approach, but without the hassle and dangers of criminalization. The hope is that by replacing the product sold by Black American Tribes from crack cocaine - a drug manufactured to destroy Black community and indoctrinate the militancy of Black revolution towards an economic design of community degradation - to a safe and natural product such as beeswax candles, we can reform, redeem and repair Black Americans away from the destruction created by government actions of sabotage and segregation and towards a society of Indigenous Reclamation and Black Reconstruction.

INITY

By transforming your gang into a new reclaimed Indigenous Tribe and committing yourself to the revolution of community, you will be introduced to a world of new connections and opportunities that would have otherwise been unavailable to you and your gang members due to pre-existing racial biases which uphold the idea that Black violence is based upon hatred of others rather than government manipulation, environmental sabotage and provocation of trauma. My (Goddess Ganga Shakti) hope is that we can use natural and environmentally conscious health and wellness products to introduce the positives of Black community to a range of new communities who may have otherwise never experienced a positive and protected interaction with a Black gang member. This can be a bridge from which to positively integrate society and dismantle the social distance and division created by segregational designs of urban development.

DIVESTMENT

To successfully complete a reformatory transition from the perpetuation of government designed criminal system to a reclaimed Indigenous economy requires much much more than hope, no matter how well intentioned. The US government has essentially established South America to be exploited for slave labor in order to produce cocaine, distribute that cocaine to Black American Gangs and invalidate their own involvement in this process of drug trafficking. Both South American and Black Americans are exploited for slave labor, used as overseers in their own enslavement and then targeted with violent and terroristic forms of policing and law enforcement in order to exterminate the crime they manufactured as a tactic of genocide disguised as law and order within western democracy. In a system of Indigenous democracy, South Americans and Black Americans would be free to continue their own economic advancement without being restrained to the limitations of manufactured criminality.

LAND

In order to successfully transition Black American Gangs from manufacturers and salespeople for crack to manufacturers and salespeople for beeswax candles; we must first establish our own beekeeping facilities in order to produce beeswax, as well as honey. To bring this vision to life, we are asking for land donations, money donations and dedicated staff members qualified in the art of beekeeping.
